Martín Umaran
As co-founder of Globant, Martín Umaran has been responsible for driving Globant's growth, guaranteeing its global reach. Together with his three partners, Martín founded Globant as a startup in 2003 in Buenos Aires. Today Globant (NYSE:GLOB) is a world leader in digital and cognitive transformation, with a presence in more than 30 countries and more than 27,000 professionals.
Martín is a member of the Board of Globant S.A., where he leads the Mergers and Acquisitions area. In 2020 he became the President of EMEA to contribute and lead the growth of the region.
He has extensive experience in business management and operations for the technology and logistics industries and is an entrepreneur and mentor for the Endeavor network where he actively contributes. He also actively participates in Business 20 (B20), having been Co-Chair of the 2018 and 2020 editions of the Education and Employment Taskforce.
One of the most strategic pillars of Globant's expansion process is how we incorporate other organizations into our family to be more efficient and increase our offer. The areas headed by Martín as Chief Corporate Development Officer are in charge of accelerating our growth, managing Corporate, Real Estate and Legal Development.
Martín is a Mechanical Engineer from the National University of La Plata.
