I graduated from software engineering at École de Technologie Supérieure in Montreal in 2019. I also continued my studies and completed a master's in IT, where I was doing research on using mobile sensors (like an Apple Watch) to predict the severity of Parkinson's disease symptoms.

For almost a year now, I have been working as a research developer at Croesus, working mainly on NLP and machine learning projects. Croesus is a FinTech company that has been around for 35 years and develops wealth management softwares.
In 2016, I started a blog called Girl Knows Tech as I wanted to share my love for technology. I have since written over 120 blog posts in French and in English. In the past few years, my posts have been written with the objective of attacking each fear one can have when deciding to study in engineering or computer sciences. I wrote about being scared of maths, having to study more than peers, the life lessons I learned at university, etc.

I have also been sharing my life daily on Instagram, opening up about all the ups and downs of being an undergraduate student in a male dominated field. I have almost 100 000 followers on all my platforms combined, so I am happy to share my passion with so many people around the world, with the hope to make the industry more diverse.

In Montreal, I believe that I am already making an impact, with some women writing to me that they have enrolled at my university after seeing me on social media or taking machine learning classes because I made them less scary, and that is my reward for all the countless hours I've invested in Girl Knows Tech!
