Since its launch, they have trained over 85,000 women online and offline. Selected as one of the top 10 Tech Startups in Africa by the prestigious Startup Bootcamp Accelerator Program, Herconomy is positioned to become one of the top Fintech companies in Africa.
In 2021, Herconomy was also selected for NASDAQ’s Milestone Makers Program for the work being done to empower women. They are also the first Amazon recruitment partner in Nigeria with a signed partnership in 2021.
The work that I lead at Herconomy is centered around the major areas of inclusion and empowerment. This started as a community to inspire women by creating a safe space for them to express themselves.

We have grown over the years, in addition to creating a safe space, we are also giving grants to women through our business support program called Enterprise Challenge.

We also started the ‘Light Box Session’ that exposes women to the capacity and skills that have improved their success in entrepreneurship and corporate career.

We also have the financial platform we have created that has increased the economic potential of our community members.
