Digital Leader

Chile
Globant
I'm Salesforce Functional Analyst, Soft. Designer in Globant with more than 6 years of experience in Project Management, configuration and implementation of Service Cloud, Field Service, Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud. Founder of The Force People and Leader of User Community Group - Santiago/ Chile.
My career in the IT world really started when I arrived in Chile.
Before I got my first break, I worked as a clerk in a clothing store, then as a cleaner, during which time I was offered an interview at an IT company. I was not selected because I was a woman and I was going to make the men who worked there uncomfortable. Far from being discouraged by that, I tried harder to find my opportunity.
Until a few months later a local technology company gave me the opportunity I was looking for...
In that same job I lived through the pandemic and in gratitude to Chile for opening the doors for me personally and professionally, I decided help people who lost their jobs during the pandemic and created an initiative called The Force People.
In which I teach Salesforce from scratch to adult people totally free.

It was a complex and complicated process because I had to coordinate with specialists in Salesforce from Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico and Peru so that they would be part of this initiative and give some of the planned classes.
But in the end the satisfaction was great because many of the graduates managed to get jobs at Salesforce and some of them managed to get certified.

At the same time, I realized the lack of organizations for people with disabilities and the LGBTQA+ community and after many months in conversation with Salesforce I managed to open a community of Salesforce users in Santiago de Chile where people with disabilities and the LGBTQA+ community can participate and learn Salesforce in the monthly sessions that we have. In fact we have a chilean sign language translator.
As I created these initiatives my expectations and goals were changing, that's when globant gave me my second chance and I decided to accept it.

I realized that teaching is my passion. In fact, here at globant I am a mentor to three people that works in here and it makes me extremely happy when my mentees meet their goals and move forward.

I hope that many more women are inspired to look for the things that they are passionate about and that generate happiness.
I always remember that teaching is learning twice.
