Master in Cognitive Systems and Interactive Media from the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona, in 2017 and Informatics Engineer from the University of La Sabana, in 2011. Professor and director of the Informatics Engineering program at the University of La Sabana. She is part of the research group of the Faculty of Engineering HCD (Human-Centered Design).
Her achievements at the University:
She participated in the creation of the User Experience Laboratory (LUX) and the HCD research group.
She is the leader of the international hackathon Sabana Hack for undergraduate students and Sabana Hack Junior for college students.
She created the information technology office for small businesses in the area of influence where the students of the program provide IT consulting.
Advisor professor of the IEEE branch of the engineering faculty.
Institutional Champion in Development and Strengthening of Experiential Learning. Accompanying professor at Robocup Sydney 2019 where La Sabana is runner-up in the Challenge Shield Robocup.
Jenny is also the host of the podcast La Tribu Tech where she interviews professionals in the field of technology and she is a co-founder of Magic Code, an entrepreneurial teaching program in programming and robotics for children.
Jenny has served the industry as a user experience designer and development lead. Furthermore, she has been in charge of projects with immersive and interactive technologies. She has worked in research centres such as Vicomtech (Visual Interaction and Communication Technologies) in San Sebastián, Spain, and the Institute of Bioengineering of Catalonia IBEC in Barcelona, Spain.
