I’m a computer science Engineer, I formed in Venezuela and started working in Chile in 2011, I have to tell you that I'm a mixture of my Venezuelan culture and formation, and the culture that I have been learning in Chile all these years. I try to keep the best of both. Being a migrant force you to do your best, and to carry the weight of representing your origins.
I worked with SAP BW/Hana for almost 8 years on projects from different industries like Retail, Oil, and Gas, and Pulp and paper, and for many Business processes like Sales and distribution, Material Management, Purchases, Cost Controlling, Financial and Plant maintenance. My favorite one always was the logistics world because their process is so tangible, that you can imagine while the user tells you the stories or you can visit the place where happen.
All these projects allowed me to develop different skills that make me apply to my current project position, some of these skills are Product oriented service, how to use SAP products in the best ways for the client needs, Design Data solutions, helping others to understand best practices of the product (clients and delivery teams), self-manage my time, and organizing priorities for me and others. All these situations let me work on my communication skills with business and technical teams.
For the last three years, I’ve been developing a SaaS, I started supporting data modeling for analytics and process mining, and now I’m the Technical Leader of the development team, a role that keeps me as the interlocutor between the product owner and the technical team.
I believe I earned the trust of my team by doing my work with love, supporting them until any doubt, and always trying to make the rest understand the final goal we are pursuing after each development.
And I feel that I have grown all these years thanks to my effort and to be open to learning from each person I work with and getting the best out of all the situations that I had to live, even when I don't feel comfortable.
I hope always keep learning and have the chance to live interesting projects with the best people to improve myself.
Being exposed to complex situations makes you creative, so I want to keep challenging myself!
