I'm extremely honored to participate in this year's Globant awards - Women that Build Edition.
I've been working in the technology industry for almost 15 years now, and I'm convinced that Women have a key role in IT - we add love, kindness and compassion to the everyday work, and we add that special ingredient to our projects to achieve goals in an organized way.
I wake up every morning feeling very lucky to be a Latin woman in IT and to have the possibility to connect and empower other women, both in my teams and in my clients, to achieve goals together while growing personally and professionally.
Outside work, I belong community of more than 100 people that helps people to join the IT industry, and I enjoy seeing women heading households, with kids or with struggling with their economic situation, enter the IT industry and find a way to bring joy to their lives and to their families.
As Oprah Winfrey once said, "Leadership is about empathy. It’s about having the ability to relate to and connect with people for the purpose of inspiring and empowering their lives.
