Anum Shakeel is a PR Professional, Corporate Communications Strategist, and Education Consultant on a mission to build alliances between industries, academia, startups, non-profits, and media. With 7+ years of professional experience across the Corporate Industry, Startups & Non-Profit Sector, she now has an impressive combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities. Ms. Shakeel is a gold medalist from the University of Karachi and a certified women entrepreneur from the Institute of Business Administration.
Ms. Shakeel has contributed to building the startup ecosystem in Pakistan. She has worked on PR campaigns for over 300 tech startups, including providing mentorship and advancing innovative paradigms. Here Ms. Shakeel was also the founding board member of the largest tech conference in Pakistan and served the tech community.
Currently, Ms. Shakeel is associated with another tech company with the mission to increases financial inclusion in a country by giving consumers a reason to go cashless and digital. In the last 30 months company has onboarded 10 million users and 20,000 merchants and is working with all the Telcos, the national payment switch, and banks to create an eco-system to transform the country.
Ms. Shakeel is a Global Shaper of the World Economic Forum's initiative Global Shapers Community. She has earned various International media recognitions for her phenomenal strides.
