Globant
Colombian Product Manager working for a digitally native company where innovation, design, and engineering meet scale. I'm a results-oriented top performer with a proven history of success working on large-scale technology projects. I have experience not only as a Product manager but as a Business Analyst, Liaison & Tech Lead for various projects and customers.
Since my career began, I have been involved in projects that positively impact others' lives, such as VIVANTO, a web portal with all the information of the population that has been declared a victim of the war conflict in Colombia to request humanitarian aid and consult payments that are part of the reparation program for the war displaced.
A Mobile Financial Service for Ghana that was part of the GSMA's Connected Women Commitment Initiative, where Tigo's goal was empowering women in Ghana by extending their Commitment to increase the proportion of women in their mobile money customer base to enable them to experience the benefits of mobile financial services; supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal to achieve gender equality.
Currently, I'm part of the core team of another digital solution for the Johnson & Johnson account that significantly impacts the health industry, managing more than 25 stakeholders from 15 different countries of the EMEA region.
Proud Product referent of Globant's Lifesciences studio and Product Acceleration Studio, where I work as a focal point of the Leadership vertical, making sure everyone that is part of our North America TDC (Talent Development Center for Canada and USA) has a leader assigned, and that those leaders are adequately trained and understand Globant's processes, tools, and standards they need to follow when guiding others careers paths.
I'm the daughter of a sweet and strong woman that made me a true believer that we are on this planet to help each other with kindness (not only to others but also to yourself); leading by example, understanding that everyone's success means different things and that each one of us has divergent requirements to grow, so it's essential we take the time to listen, accommodate and shape the way we can help and work as a team, to reach our goals and dreams based on our individual necessities.
Since my early stages, I've always wanted to positively impact others' lives, not only with my knowledge but also with the relationship I can build with them. I think that is one of the reasons why I was nominated to participate in this award. I feel that although I have solid technical skills, combining that with my soft skills has allowed me to be great at what I do. I have worked constantly training, reading, applying, failing, reshaping, and doing all over again during all these years because I think I need to devote myself to my personal and professional growth and development as a leader to do my best to boost the work, the career, the personal growth and motivation of my team. I care and love to find other ways to empower them and recognize the effort each of them is making.
