Sofia is the co-founder and CEO of Apptim (www.apptim.com), and a Director and Board Member of software testing services company, Abstracta (www.abstracta.us).
At age 25, and after having worked in Uruguay as a performance engineer for a few years, she led Abstracta’s expansion to the United States, heading up business development and working with enterprises like Shutterfly, Broadcom, and Singularity University to help them create reliable and robust technologies.
In 2019, she founded Apptim, on a mission to help companies consistently deliver fast and reliable mobile experiences.
In the past years, she has helped launched and advised several projects to bring more women into IT in Uruguay such as Recovertite (https://reconvertite.uy/en).
