I work for one of the largest investment and asset management companies as Chief Information Officer / Executive Committee member leading technology and digital transformation.

I grew up in a humble family in China and decided to pursue my career in STEM, despite a lot of objections 30 years ago. I graduated from Peking University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and MBA.

In the past 2 decades, I worked and lived in China, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Singapore , Belgium for global companies including Nestle, Royal Dutch Shell, Johnson and Johnson, Mars as Chief Information officer, I have been heading all technology disciplines in global scale, driving digital transformation and technology innovation, sitting in the board room to advise the start up technology companies.

I am a strong advocate of Diversity and Inclusion. I headed the Netherlands D&I council and professional women network. I also led IT Women Leadership Institution when working in Johnson and Johnson and Mars. I spent a lot of time to mentor young professionals and women groups outside my own companies.

I have a lot of passion on social and community work, in 2014 and 2015, I spent 3 weeks in Vietnam to help the communities and also supported charity work in Singapore .

I was named “ CIO of the year’ in 2019 in Europe and “global CIO 100’ in 2020. Attended Fortune ‘Most powerful women’ event in HongKong in 2016. I speak regularly in industry conferences to promote technology innovation and D&I.
